These rockstar avatars are selected when signing up for an H-Lounge account. They were designed to start off a bit boring and geeky, and eventually upgrade into rockstar status, getting tattoos, sunglasses, guitars and better (read: more revealing) clothing. You could upgrade you avatar with points, accumulated by using the site, uploading music, rating other people's music and leaving comments.
Including the custom ones that aren't pictured here, I ended up drawing over a hundred.
