Mantii leverages per-pixel image recognition technology to help brands identify where their logo appears in social media channels such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. The web interface features an elegant stream of images and an easy to navigate display of additional data such as demographics, views, social influence and relevant trending topics.
The name is based on the Mantis shrimp, known for having one of the most elaborate visual systems in the animal kingdom. The team wanted to explore logo directions involving shrimp, pixel analysis and visual metaphors for sight/vision. Landing page and UI tool design by the incredibly talented Dan McKenna.
The Advertising Age cover walked away with MARCOM’s Platinum Award for magazine cover design for 2015.
